The use of herbal and natural supplements is gaining popularity in the western world. Ayurveda which is an ancient science of organized medicine in India is gaining popularity all over the world. Some of the benefit of herbs that have been discovered a few thousand years ago in India are now being recognized by the western world. We now recognize the usefulness of these herbs as food supplements or as dietary supplements.
Turmeric with its active ingredient Curcumin has been used traditionally in Indian cooking and most people relate to the word ‘Curry’.
