Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) is an Indian medicinal plant, proven as an ‘Adaptogenic – Herb’ It is popularly known as the Indian Ginseng and is found in the drier parts of Subtropical India & is widely distributed. It contains alkaloids, withanolides, withaferins, saponins.
