Gotu Kola helps to regain general mental health through its tonic effect. Ref: Usman Ali etal Bull med. Ethnobot Res 2(1), 1981, 23-36.

Researchers stated that the tonic action of Centella Asiatica involves the stabilization of cell membrane and the revitalization of connective tissue. It also causes an overall decrease in the level of metabolic imbalances, thus facilitating learning and retention.
