Elephant Vine or Argyreia Nervosa is commonly known as Silver morning climber. In India it is known as Vidhara. The plant Argyreia Nervosa has aphrodisiac properties. The root, flowers and to some extent, leaves (homogenate in 2% gum acacia) of the plant showed aphrodisiac activity as evidenced by an increase in mounting behavior of mice. Ref: J. Endocrinol Reprod II (2007).
